your boys can move those bodies! and what i like just as much is how very chill Daisy is one her bed. she barely seems to notice dance party usa.
and even more, i love imagining your smile as you film, Miska. or rather, how you are smiling but are concealing how much you want to all out laugh with pleasure as not to make your boys feel self-conscious about their (wonderful) wild abandon.
Austin~ if that will get you up here for another visit, then definitely. =)
Jenny~ you are so right about the smiling and holding in the laughter. I'm pretty darn proud of them. As for Daisy, unbeknownst (is that a word?) to us, she had snagged a pencil from the table and was busy eating it.
my soul's face revealed it's beauty to me; why was it shy so long? didn't it know how this made me suffer and weep? ~st. francis of assisi

and here's what i love
jesus. my inimitable husband. my crazy wonderful boys wyatt and seth. books. dogs, particularly my own daisy. bikram yoga. my church community. coffee shops. naps. a steaming cup of earl grey tea. the ocean. rich conversations. used book stores. friends that are family and family that are friends. the color brown. and orange. and green. people-watching. chocolate. homemade bread. grace. the art of spiritual direction. tears. flowers blooming. leaves changing. charming little shops. spontaneous out-of-town trips. beauty. laughter. rainy days. pretzel m & m's. the word ass.

That is some serious and awesome dancin'. They look wild and free. I especially love Wyatt's robot-o moves. Priceless.
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I miss you guys so much. It's about dang time for me to find my way up there.
Peace of Christ to you.
Ed~definitely time for a visit. The boys still talk about you, and we all miss you.
Do it, Ed. Then come by DC. Or we'll come by Cville. Whatever needs to happen.
