You definitely got your mom&#39;s genes - both of you are gifted writers! Loved reading the last few posts and wish I had time to read more this evening.<br /><br />I had to comment on this one in particular because I have struggled with my need for solitude vs. my role as a mom. . . and since we have chosen to homeschool our girls, it really is one of those exercises in daily self-denial. So glad to read in yoru eloquent way of a friend who &quot;gets it.&quot;<br /><br />God seems to continually remind me of John 12:24 - &quot;I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.&quot;<br /><br />May your mothering (and mine) produce seeds of godliness in our children as a result of our willingness to die to self.<br /><br />Glad to see pics of your sweet family, and to learn tonight that your mom has remarried.
